About us
Lingua Diversa Group was formed in 2002 by two experienced language teachers, Esther Sahagun and Lucio Daniele, and has expanded ever since.
We offer group courses and tailor-made one-to-one lessons in Spanish, Italian, French, German, Brazilian-Portuguese, Russian and English.

Language courses in Holborn
Lunchtime courses
If you work or live around the Holborn area this is your chance to use your lunchtime in a different way. Come to our office in Holborn to learn Spanish, Italian, French, German or Brazilian-Portuguese!
These lessons only last 1 hour and the fee is £190 for 11 weeks and £200 for 12 weeks.
Evening courses
We organise evening group courses in our offices in central London, Holborn, with maximum 10 students in each group. We offer Spanish, Italian, French, German, Brazilian-Portuguese and Russian.
We run three terms a year. Lessons start at 6pm or 7.35pm and last 1.5 hours. Our autumn term will start week beginning 15th September 2025 and will run for 12 weeks.
Taster lessons
We offer you once a month a taster lesson for beginners in Spanish, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese and French for just £20!
Each lesson lasts 1 hour. You will learn some basic questions and answers through interesting and fun activities. To find out about our next dates please visit the links above or email us.

Spanish lessons
Did you know? With over 400 million native speakers Spanish is the second most popular language in the world.
If you want to learn from scratch or brush up your Spanish language skills we have the right course for you. We provide Spanish lessons from beginner to advanced level either one to one or in a group.
Italian lessons
Did you know? Italy has 20 regions and each region has its own dialect.
Study Italian in one of our groups at our premises in Holborn at lunchtime or in the evening. If you prefer you can also have one to one lessons with one of our Italian tutors at your office or house anytime Monday to Saturday 8:30am to 8pm.
Portuguese lessons
Did you know? Portuguese is the official language of 9 countries.
Brazilian Portuguese lessons in central London with qualified native Brazilian teachers, face to face individual tuition and group courses. We also offer online lessons via Zoom.
European Portuguese one to one lessons are also available.
German lessons
Did you know? The German word "Rat" means "advice".
Learn German with Lingua Diversa Group with our weekly German evening courses or more intensive one to one lessons, or come and try one of our German language "tasters" for just £20!
French lessons
Did you know? It is estimated that over 40% of all English words have a French origin.
Join one of our French group courses in Holborn or study at your own pace with more flexible one to one lessons with a qualified native French teacher.
Russian lessons
Did you know? In Russian the verb "to be" is not used when speaking in the present tense.
Whether you are learning Russian for business purposes or for travelling we have the right Russian tutor for you. Lessons can take place in our offices or at your premises.
English lessons
Did you know? The neutral vowel (also called "schwa") is the most used sound in English.
We offer general English courses and English lessons for business people. We also have packages for overseas students with English courses and accommodation.
Online lessons
For students who are unable to commit to weekly lessons we also offer one-to-one online classes via Zoom with one of our qualified language teachers.
The fee for this service is £50 per hour. You will get 10% discount for bookings of 10 hours or more.
